Holy Land & Jerusalem Pilgrimage Tour

(14 Reviews)

Nothing brings the Gospels to life like a Catholic Holy Land Pilgrimage Tour to the Holy Land and Jerusalem in 2023 or 2024. During the course of the pilgrimage tour, you will walk in the Footsteps of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and the Apostles, visiting and celebrating daily Mass in the most important Shrines and Basilicas of Christianity. You will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, where the Angel of the Lord appeared to the Virgin Mary, and she professed her Magnificat. You will visit Bethlehem and celebrate the birth of Christ at the Church of the Nativity.  During this Holy Land Pilgrimage tour, you will have the opportunity to renew your baptismal vows at the Jordon River and your wedding vows in Cana, where Jesus performed His first Miracle. You will spend two days around the Sea of Galilee where Jesus began His ministry, preaching to thousands as He gave His sermon on the Mount of Beatitudes, and miraculously fed the multitudes with fish and loaves of bread. The highlight of the Holy Land Pilgrimage Tour will be in Jerusalem where you will pray in the Garden of Gethsemane and experience the Lord’s Passion along the Via Dolorosa, also known as the Way of the Cross, on the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which marks the place where Jesus was put to death on Calvary, and was buried and rose again! Visits to Mount Tabor,  Sepphoris, Bethany, and Jericho are just some of the other places that you will visit on this Holy Land Pilgrimage Tour. Hi Father Paul, Jimmy and Marcelle,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the very wonderful and fulfilling program you prepared for us on our Holy Land Pilgrimage. The highlight of that tour for our family was having to celebrate a mass on the tomb of Jesus, what a wonderful experienced that we did not expect.

To add up to a wonderful experienced was having Father Shoury as our Priest, he guided us spiritually in our journey even up to now, his words and prayers still remain in our hearts. He is a spiritually gifted Priest. Our family love Father Shoury , we will continue to pray for him as well.

Our small group of Pilgrims made us felt of having extended family. Our Tour Guide did very well in explaining the history if the place that coincide with the bible as Father Shoury explained the biblical side. The driver of the bus did his job perfectly on picking / dropping us to the places of interest according to our pilgrimage program. The accommodation ( hotel and food) was excellent. Our Jordan extension was a plus that we really enjoyed the adventure in Petra and Mt Nebo. Although we had some hiccups on our flight going to Israel ( with our luggages delayed for 2 days) but everything were replaced with outpouring great experienced with the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ that until now the blessings continue coming on our way.

To walk where our Lord Jesus walked was ended a wonderful experience that we will always cherish and keep in our hearts forever.

Thank you for the wonderful and well- organized program you created for our group. We recommended your company to a lot of our friends since they saw our posting in social media. My sons,Sean and Steffen also posted a lot of pictures in google photos sharing with Father Shoury ( Jimmy and Father Paul are in that group). I was trying to post our group pictures in Catholic Journeys Facebook but not successful ( I will keep trying) but feel free to post our group pictures shared in google photos.

Again, thank you Jimmy, Father Paul and Marcelle for a wonderful experienced that we will always cherish in our mind and heart.

Sincerely,

I went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land during March of 2023. It was a very spiritual and informative experience for me. Going during Lent and having daily Mass added to my experience of Holy Week when I got back home. Our guide was very knowledgeable in our Catholic Faith, Scripture, History and the Culture of the Time. I learned a lot about the area and times of Jesus, I felt in the presence of Jesus at times and I formed a great friendship with my fellow pilgrims. I would recommend Catholic Journeys to others! Thank you for this very wonderful experience.

Our trip was fantastic. Met and exceeded our expectations. Hotels and meals were great. It was certainly a wonderful religious experience. The most important aspect of the tour was our tour guide and bus driver. Said, our guide, was very knowledgable and personable. I observed other tour groups and it was evident we were on the best tour. I can’t say enough about Said. In fact, we enjoyed the tour so much, we may go again. As long as Said is the guide. Also, our bus driver was very good and did a great job of handling that bus it very tough traffic! He made us feel safe. A great tour. Thank you.

Our guide was well versed in Archeology and History and the
Bible which made us to understand the importance and the meaning of the area. He explained
very well in every angle of the place. I myself taught the Bible as a priest for 45 years learnt so
much from his explanation. It gave me altogether a new understanding of the “Salvation
History”. I could say that I have learnt new things and new way of looking the plan of God, not
only me personally but all of us could boldly say the same thing. It is an eye opener of our faith
and the reality of God Himself. Every day was a new message, towards the end of the day we
could only admire “how God in His Plan for the humanity arranged Jesus birth and led through
his preaching and miracles and finally his death brought the salvation to the humanity”. It was a
Wonderful experience. Personally I have few highlights of pilgrimage (of course every sight was
important) but Garden of Gethsemane, Last Supper – Ordination of Priesthood / Upper Room,
Stations of the Cross, Wailing Wall/ Temple of Solomon, Tomb of Jesus/ death of Jesus. In all
these places I celebrated Holy Mass; in all these I was fully and personally involved in the
celebration of the Mass which gave me a new renewal of my Priesthood. This I call it a
wonderful faith and personal experience of God and Jesus.
Personally I advised the group “do not miss this great opportunity of experience of God” and
God is Great, so ask for a miracle to happen in your life before you leave this place. I myself
earnestly asked God something should happen to me; sure enough unexpected thing happened
to me/ I may say miraculously met Jesus in disguise (unknown Person) later I recalled that
person none other than Christ himself.
I thank Catholic Journeys Organization and our own group finally knit together as a family. I
pray that this great experience may go a long way in our life until we meet Jesus in Heaven face
to face and Blessed Virgin Mary – Mother of God.

Hello Jimmy,
Thank you for getting in touch and thank you for your prayers. I also want to thank the Catholic Journeys team for an excellent job in handling our pilgrimage needs, from the flight bookings, airport transfers, hotel accommodations and knowledgeable tour guide and driver.
Marcelle who first handled our initial inquiry and our subsequent booking was very thorough and responsive to our questions and concerns. She was very consistent in providing prompt guidance and assistance to our concerns prior to the trip. Although we didn’t have direct contact with Fr. Paul, I sensed his readiness to assist if assistance was needed during the booking process. My wife and I were also very pleased by the flight bookings handled by you (Jimmy). We were happy with the airline and seats selection you made. The timing and number of layovers worked very well for us (these were a major concerns for me and my wife prior to our flight booking). The documents, the instructions and travel tips provided were very helpful.
When we reached the Holy Land, we were so happy to have a very knowledgeable tour guide named Sa-id. He was very nice and the level of knowledge he shared was excellent! We all learned a lot from him. He and the driver were very helpful all throughout til the end of the trip. Sa-id was very patient in explaining things to us. A very kind person !
Our group was very lucky also to have Fr. Shoury with us! He filled us with spiritual nourishment throughout the journey! The daily masses with his inspiring homilies and prayerful guidance made our group so close together and gave us a spirit filled camaraderie. Last but not the least, we were so happy to be with this diverse group of pilgrims from all over the US who are so patient with one another, helping one another and shared the common goal of tracing the footsteps of Jesus. Towards the end of our pilgrimage we all felt that Jesus’ footsteps didn’t end in the cross in vain…because not only we’re saved by His death on the cross but we all felt the LOVE that He gave and preached to us…through the people we were with in this pilgrimage and through the people that facilitated our trip to the Holy Land!

Best regards!
Roberto and Janette
