Italy Food Faith and Wine Pilgrimage Hotels

We plan on using these 4-star hotels during the Italy Food, Faith, Wine, and Gelato Pilgrimage Tour.  We aim to use these hotels, but we may need to choose similar ones if necessary.

Rome

ATLANTE STAR 4-star hotel in Rome.  This upscale hotel is located near Vatican City, just a 13-minute walk from St. Peter’s Basilica and 5 kilometers from the Colosseum.  The refined, individually decorated rooms and suites feature antique furnishings, including Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and minibars.  Each room is equipped with a marble whirlpool tub.  Pilgrims can enjoy a breakfast buffet during their stay, and a sophisticated rooftop restaurant offers stunning city views.  The hotel also has a bar for relaxation and socializing.

Assisi

HOTEL DAL MORO GALLERY -4-star hotel in Assisi.   Located on a cobbled street, this stylish hotel is a 4-minute walk from the Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli and 4 km from the Basilica Papale di San Francesco.  The polished rooms and suites have Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and minibars.  Each room includes a breakfast buffet.  The hotel also features a sleek restaurant and bar with floor-to-ceiling windows, a lounge area, an outdoor pool, and two terraces.

Siena

HOTEL ATHENA – 4-star hotel in Siena.  Set within the ancient city walls, this classic, upscale hotel is a 10-minute walk from Siena Cathedral and a 12-minute walk from the medieval Piazza del Campo.  Relaxed rooms offer Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and desks.  Your room includes a breakfast buffet.  The bright Tuscan restaurant has a bar, a TV lounge, and a terrace offering seasonal candlelit dinners and countryside views.  There are also three business centers.

Florence

HOTEL CELLAI – 4-star hotel in Florence.  This elegant hotel, located just a 6-minute walk from the Galleria dell’Accademia, is housed in a classic stone building.  It’s an 11-minute walk to the Florence Cathedral and 17 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio bridge.  The warm, individually designed rooms are decorated in vintage Florentine style and include Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minifridges, and desks.  Some rooms feature canopy beds, sofabeds, and tea and coffee makers.  Pilgrims can enjoy a breakfast buffet served in a relaxed dining room, and there is also a lounge with a charming wood-beamed ceiling.
