Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage Tour

(50 Reviews)

Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage tour offers a journey to Mexico without the jet lag associated with traveling to Europe or the Holy Land.  Mexico City is home to some of the most beautiful churches and shrines in the Americas.  During the Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage tour, pilgrims will spend a day at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness and Empress of the Americas, starting with Mass in the modern Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, where the miraculous image on the Tilma of St. Juan Diego is displayed above the main altar.  Our expert Catholic guide will narrate how Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to St. Juan Diego, and you’ll have the chance to view the image up close on a moving walkway.  You’ll see the original chapel built on Our Lady’s apparition site atop the hill behind the basilica, known as Tepeyac.  While in Mexico City, you’ll also visit Santa Maria Tulpetlac, known as the Church of the Healing, the site of Our Lady’s fifth apparition and where St. Juan Diego’s uncle was healed.

Additionally, the Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage tour will include visits to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in Latin America, and the National Palace, both located in the main square, the Zocalo.  You’ll also attend Mass at the Holy Family Church, praying at the tomb of Blessed Miguel Agustin Pro, the Jesuit martyr.  The pilgrimage will travel to Puebla to explore St. Dominic’s Church, its magnificent chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, where you can see the incorrupt body of the Franciscan friar Blessed Sebastian of Aparicio.  Of course, no tour of Mexico would be complete without a visit to the pyramids of San Juan Teotihuacan.  You’ll see the Sun and Moon pyramids here and enjoy a Mexican lunch at a nearby restaurant.  This Catholic Mexico pilgrimage tour is perfect for individuals, couples, families, or groups.  Book your Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico today for 2025 or 2026!

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the spiritual director for the pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe. It was truly a blessed time for me as a priest and, I believe, for our entire group.

Thank you for the well-organized pilgrimage by Catholic Journeys. We had excellent guides who ensured that the pilgrimage was both spiritual and educational. Thanks to their dedication, we gained a deeper understanding of Mexico’s history as well as the beauty and rich spiritual heritage of the local Church.

From my side, I did my best to ensure that it was not just a visit to important places but also a mini-retreat on the road.

Thank you once again for everything. May God and Our Lady keep you in their care.

Kind regards and with prayers,
Fr. Walery Bykowski

I give 5 stars out of 5, this Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe was the most wonderful experienced I ever had. I feel closer to God then ever before. The guide person Raul is so knowledgeable I was amazed how much I didn’t know about Mexico, when I thought I knew everything there was to know about my culture. And Father Walery was amazing he has the gift of the Holy Spirit. I’m making plans for this year 2025. I’m praying Raul and Father Walery will be there too.

Bob and I really liked our guide for our Pilgrimage to Mexico and Our Lady of Guadalupe. He spoke clearly and was an excellent storyteller – he enhanced our understanding and prepared us well to enter the sacred places and understand the culture of the Mexican people.

We enjoyed visiting the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe twice, the pyramids, the colonial town of Puebla, the pyramids and the various churches that held Blessed Sebastián de Aparicio and Miguel Agustin Pro. We also enjoyed the restaurants that were chosen for lunch and the evening dinner restaurant exceeded our expectations.

Fr. Val was a jewel and we cannot say enough good things about how beautifully we celebrated Mass each day. I was especially grateful that Mass was celebrated in the evening on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

Loved the Our Lady of Guadalupe pilgrimage but we have limited access to the Internet in the bus. Our guide was excellent and kept us grounded and on time. Our bus driver was most patient and polite with us.
