Divine Mercy Poland Pilgrimage Tour Hotels

These are the 5 and 4-star hotels we regularly use on a pilgrimage to Poland.  We try to use these hotels, but may have to use similar ones:

Warsaw

Sofitel Warsaw Victoria – A 5-star hotel
In a sleek building overlooking Pilsudski Square, this modern hotel is a 12-minute walk from the Royal Castle and 10 km from Warsaw Chopin Airport.  Polished rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and designer toiletries, plus tea and coffeemaking facilities. Upgraded quarters add minibars, Bose speaker systems, and ergonomic work areas; some have city views.  Room service is available 24/7.  There’s an international eatery and a chic French restaurant/bar. Other amenities include an indoor pool, a gym, and a sauna. Massages can be arranged.  This is a wonderful hotel for a pre-stay in Warsaw to recover from jet lag in a charming neighborhood with local restaurants, and coffee shops, and enjoy Polish cuisine. 

 

Czestochowa

Hotel Arche – a 4-star hotel

This elegant hotel in a stately stone building is 2 blocks from the Jasna Gora pilgrimage site, which houses the renowned Black Madonna icon.  Warmly decorated rooms feature flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffeemaking facilities; some have slanted roofs.  There’s a cosmopolitan, fine-dining restaurant with a bar. Other amenities include a gym, and a spa offering a sauna, a Roman bath, and massages.

 

Zakopane

Hotel Aquarion  – 4-star hotel Nestled in the Tatras Mountains and 5 minutes walking from Aqua Park, this sleek hotel with a steel and glass exterior.  Accommodations are modern rooms with illustrative murals, polished dining rooms, and glass-enclosed bathrooms. All have free Wi-Fi, minifridges, and flat-screen TVs, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities.

 

Krakow

Radisson Blu Krakow5-star hotel

This upscale, city hotel lies a 7-minute walk from the medieval main square and a 10-minute walk from the Wawel Cathedral and coronation site.  Offering city views, the sleek, colorful rooms include flat-screen TVs, minibars, and free Wi-Fi, plus tea and coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms and suites add Nespresso machines and complimentary breakfast. Room service is available 24/7.  Free loaner bikes are available. There’s a laid-back restaurant offering a revolving international menu, along with a polished bar with a piano. Additional amenities include 8 meeting rooms and a wellness center/spa with an exercise room and a sauna.
