Starhotels Michaelangelo is a 4-star elegant hotel 7 minutes on foot from St. Peter’s Basilica and a 10-minute walk from the Sistine Chapel. The polished rooms feature murals of Rome’s attractions and come with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. An airy, sophisticated restaurant serves a hot breakfast buffet, and a cozy bar features artwork inspired by Ancient Rome.
NH Collection Roma Centro is a 4-star hotel we also use in Rome. It is just over a mile from St. Peter’s Basilica inside Vatican City. Soundproof rooms feature tea and coffee-making facilities, minibars, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs. Amenities include a gym, a polished cocktail lounge serving light bites, and a traditional restaurant with a garden terrace.
Grand Hotel Paradiso is a 4-star upscale hotel less than a half mile from the Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat screens, minibars, and desks. Breakfast is served in a refined restaurant. There’s a chic bar and an outdoor pool with fountains. The hotel even has a chapel, an outdoor pool, a bar/lounge, and a steam room.
Fontebella Palace Hotel is a 4-star hotel set in a 17th-century building; this classically styled hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Basilica Papale di San Francesco and 1 mile from the 12th-century San Damiano church. The traditionally furnished rooms and suites have flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and minibars. Breakfast is served in a warm restaurant with a bar and a lounge with a fireplace. A garden with seating offers panoramic city views.

Domus Laetitiae Assisi is owned and operated by the Seraphic Province of the Immaculate Conception of the Capuchin Friars Minor, part of the Franciscan Order. The hotel offers convenient amenities, including an elevator and vending machines for snacks and drinks, all set in a beautiful location. The rooms at Domus Laetitiae Assisi have carpeted floors and air conditioning for guests’ comfort. Pilgrims can enjoy private bathrooms with hair dryers, towels, and a shower. Additionally, the hotel serves breakfast daily. Porterage is not available. However, the motor coach pulls up close to the reception area. Pilgrims have greatly enjoyed their stay here.
