Our Medjugorje Rome Pilgrimage Tour combines our two most popular Catholic Pilgrimage tour destinations. Staring in Rome, the Eternal City, you will visit St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Church in Christendom built over the burial place of St. Peter. Here you celebrate Mass in the final resting place of many former Popes and Saints. During the Medjugorje Rome Pilgrimage Tour, you will also visit the Vatican Museum which showcases the works of the world’s most renowned artists, including the magnificent ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo’s masterpiece, The Last Judgement. During the Medjugorje Rome Pilgrimage Tour you will visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran, Cathedral of Rome, the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, the burial place of St. Paul, and the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the largest church in the world dedicated to the Virgin Mary. A highlight of the Medjugorje Rome Pilgrimage Tour is receiving a Papal Blessing and Audience with the Pope in St. Peter’s Square if he is in Residence. In Medjugorje, the peaceful village where the Virgin Mary has been appearing since 1981, you will attend English Mass every morning and pray the Rosary every evening with other pilgrims from around the globe at St. James Church. Climb Apparition Hill and pray at the very spot where Our Lady first appeared, and hike to the large Cross at the top of Mount Krisevac, praying at the Stations of the Cross along the way. You will have the chance to visit with any of the Visionaries that are in the village and hear first hand about their experience and the messages they receive from the Blessed Mother.  Go ahead and book the Medjugorje Rome Pilgrimage now!

Our local guide will accompany you to help you understand the history and layout of the village. Our guide will arrange meetings with the visionaries at their own homes, provided that they are in Medjugorje during your trip and pending their availability.

Here are some of the activities you will have the opportunity to experience:
Each morning at 10:00 am we assemble at St. James Church for the English language Mass (Feast days and Sundays English Mass is at noon). Follow the path up Apparition Hill where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Touch and pray before the cross that commemorates the spot where Mary first appeared to the visionaries. Visit and pray at “The Blue Cross,” which is a place of great healings and graces, at the base of Apparition Hill. Each evening at 5:00 pm (6:00 pm daylight savings time) we will join the villagers and pilgrims to pray the rosary. The apparition takes place at 5:40 pm (6:40 pm during daylight savings time) followed by the Croatian Mass, where there is the Blessing of the Sick and blessing of Religious articles.
