Day 1 

October 20, Fly from MSY to Rome

Day 2 

October 21 Motorcoach to Florence:

• Stop for lunch on your own on the way to Florence
• Orientation to city, Piazzale Michelangelo, Ponte Vecchio
• Welcome dinner at a local restaurant
• Overnight in Florence

Day 3 

October 22 Florence:

• Duomo & Baptistry/Santa Croce Church with Mass
• Lunch on your own in the area
• San Lorenzo & Medici Chapel
• The rest of the day is free time to shop, etc.
• Dinner on your own
• Overnight in Florence

Day 4 

October 23 Florence:

• Accademia tour featuring Michelangelo’s David / Santa Maria Novella Church with Mass
• Lunch on your own and a free afternoon
• Uffizi Gallery or Pitti Palace
• Dinner together and overnight in Florence

Day 5 

October 24 Pisa to Siena:

• Motorcoach to Pisa
• Duomo, Baptistry, Tower/ Mass at local church
• Vineyard tour on the way to Siena with Lunch and Wine Tasting included
• Light dinner on your own in Siena
• Overnight in Siena

Day 6 

October 25 Siena:

• Duomo / Piazza Del Campo / Palazzo Pubblico / Palio
• Lunch on your own in the city center
• San Francesco with Mass / free time

Day 7 

October 26 Assisi:

• Motorcoach to Assisi
• Santa Maria degli Angeli, Portiuncula / San Damiano with Mass, if possible

October 27 Assisi:

• Santa Chiara / Santa Maria Sopra Minerva / San Rufino with Mass
• Lunch on your own in the town center / Walking Tour of the town center

October 28 Rome:

• Motorcoach to Rome
• Lunch together upon arrival
• Tour of Historical Center: Pantheon / Santa Maria Sopra Minerva / Trevi Fountain / San Ignatio with Mass / Piazza Navona

• Overnight in Rome 

Day 10

• Papal Audience
• Lunch on your own in the area
• Vatican Museums Tour
• Visit St. Peter’s on your own / Dinner on your own
• Overnight in Rome

Day 11 

October 30 Rome:

• St. Peter’s Basilica with Mass and tour / St. Mary Major Basilica
• Lunch together in the area
• San Clemente / Colosseum / Forum / San Pietro in Vincoli
• Dinner on your own
• Overnight in Rome 

Day 12 

October 31 Rome:

• Basilica of Saint Paul outside the Walls / Catacombs then Mass
• Farewell Lunch at Cecilia Matella
• San Giovanni in Laterano Basilica
• Free time / Dinner on your own
• Overnight in Rome 

Day 13

November 1 Fly Home:

• Return flights from Rome to New Orleans

Pricing:  with airfare from MSY, $5,599.  Land only $4,699.  Single supplement of $1,299.  Based on a minimum of 35 paying pilgrims.  $200 discount per person for placing a deposit before November 1, 2024.  The price may have to be increased if fewer than 35 pilgrims are booked and paid in full 3 months in advance of departure.
