Proposed Itinerary

DAY 1 - Depart USA on your overnight transatlantic flights. Complimentary meals served in flight.

DAY 2 – Dublin - After your Irish welcome at Dublin Airport, you transfer to your Dublin hotel. This afternoon you embark on a brief tour of Dublin with visits to Trinity College to view the Book of Kells, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Phoenix Park. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 3 – Dublin –This morning you travel to Maynooth to visit St. Patrick’s College. You will have Mass in the College Chapel and afterwards have time for lunch, on your own. On your return you will visit Castle Town House. Optional Dinner Cabaret or Theatre this evening.

DAY 4 – Waterford – This morning, you depart from Dublin to Waterford via Wicklow Mountains, Carlow and Kilkenny. Enroute, you will visit Powerscourt Estate / Gardens and the 6th century monastic settlement at Glendalough, where you will celebrate Mass in a local Church. You continue to Kilkenny Castle before arriving in Waterford for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 – Blarney/Killarney -Today begins with a visit to the famous Waterford factory before departing for Killarney. Here you will see the production of Waterford Crystal. You then travel to Blarney. In Blarney, you “may” acquire the gift of eloquence (by kissing the Blarney Stone). You then visit the famous Blarney Woolen Mills, where you will have time for shopping. Dinner and overnight in Killarney.

DAY 6 – Dingle Peninsula/Killarney - After Mass and breakfast, you depart for a full day tour of the Dingle Peninsula. After lunch, on your own, in Dingle Town, you visit the Gallarus Oratory. Time permitting, you see the Muckross House and Gardens. Tonight dinner is on your own. Overnight in Killarney.

DAY 7 – Galway -After breakfast, you will travel from Killarney through Listowel, Tarbet, across the River Shannon to County Clare. Next you stop at the Mighty Cliffs of Moher. You then continue through the Burren District and Ballyvaughan before arriving in Galway for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8 – Connemara - Today you will enjoy a full day tour of Connemara. Set in the heart of the Connemara Mountains is the Kylemore Abbey, home of the Irish Benedictine Nuns. Visit the Picturesque Abbey (reception rooms, video and exhibition) and enjoy a stroll to the beautifully restored Gothic Church. Also visit Clifden before returning to Galway for dinner and overnight. 

DAY 9 – Knock - Today you enjoy a full day, first visiting Ballintubber Abbey. You then continue on to Knock, Ireland's National Marian Shrine. The Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist appeared here to fifteen witnesses, August 21, 1879. You will have Mass in Our Lady’s Chapel. Dinner and overnight in Knock.

DAY 10– Ennis –This morning, you travel south to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. You will tour the Castle grounds and have time for lunch, on your own. (You may want to try Durty Nelly’s). This evening you will enjoy the fun and pageantry of a Medieval Banquet and entertainment in Knappogue Castle. Overnight in Ennis.

DAY 11 – Return to USA - After breakfast in Ennis, transfer to Shannon Airport, (where you will have time after check-in for some last minute shopping at Shannon's exclusive duty free shop), for your return flights to the USA.
