Day 1 - USA- Depart for the overnight flights to Tel Aviv.

Day 2 - Tel Aviv, Caesarea, Mount Carmel
Early arrival and meet your guide at Ben Gurion Airport. Travel to the ancient port city of Jaffa where Peter raised Tabitha from the dead and where he had a vision of a sheet coming down from heaven, full of unclean animals, and he heard a voice commanding him: "Rise, Peter; kill and eat;" a sign to Peter that Gentiles and non-Jews, could receive the Holy Spirit and join the Church. Have Mass and time for lunch. Travel up the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea where the Romans held Paul prisoner, and to Mount Carmel and to Mukhraka where Elijah confronted the false prophets of Baal and where the Carmelite Order was started. Dinner and overnight overnight in Galilee.

Day 3 & 4 The Ministry of Christ in Galilee
Highlights from the Galilee include: a morning boat ride across the Sea of Galilee; the Mount of the Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was given; a visit to Tabgha to see the splendid mosaic about the miracle of the loaves and fishes; to the Church of Peter's Primacy where Peter was told "Feed my lambs, feed my sheep;" to Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus told Peter “You are the Rock and upon this rock I will build my Church;” to Capernaum to see the synagogue and St Peter's house; to Korazim, the city that Jesus cursed; to Bethsaida, a fishing village in Jesus’ day, and where excavations reveal a well-preserved city gate from the time of King David; and to Kursi where Jesus freed a man 'possessed by the devil' by casting his demons into pigs. Dinner each night at the hotel in Galilee.

Day 5 - Nazareth, Mt Tabor, Jordan Valley
Drive to Cana, the village of Jesus’ first miracle, changing water into wine; here couples may renew their wedding vows. Continue to the Basilica of Annunciation in Nazareth where announced the coming of Our Lord to the Virgin Mary. we will celebrate Mass. Afterward we will visit Mount Tabor, scene of the Transfiguration, and drive down the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6 - Jerusalem, Ein Karem, Bethlehem
We begin with a dramatic view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives. We then head to the village of Ein Karem, the birthplace of St John the Baptist and to the Church of Visitation where the Blessed Virgin Mary visited her cousin, Elizabeth, and proclaimed the 'Magnificat'. Then to the Shepherd's Fields where the angels announced the birth of Jesus. Then we visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem that stands upon the site where Jesus was born. Mass in Bethlehem. Dinner and over-night at the hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 7 - Jerusalem: The Passion of Jesus' Last Hours
We visit Bethany where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Then onto the Mt. of Olives where we will visit the Pater Nostar, the place from where Jesus ascended into heaven. We will walk the Palm Sunday route stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Then to Gethsemane, the Rock of Agony where Jesus prayed His last prayer before the arrest. Visit the cave of betrayal then the cave of Assumption of Mary to heaven. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 8 - Via Dolorosa, Calgary, Pentecost
Early in the morning we retrace the last steps of Jesus. As we walk along the Via Dolorosa, praying the Stations of the Cross, we reflect on the greatness of His sacrifice. Finally we arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built over the site of the Crucifixion and the burial, for Mass. While in the Old City of Jerusalem we visit St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin Mary and her parents. We pass the Ecce Homo where Pilate proclaimed “Behold the Man;” the Western Wall, the most holy place for Jews. We visit the Upper Room of the Last Supper at the Cenacle and Dormition Abbey where we believe the Blessed Mother fell into sleep and was assumed into heaven. We end the day at St. Peter in Gallicantu where Peter denied Jesus thrice. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 9 - The Wilderness: The desert east of Jerusalem is rich in Christian tradition. At the oasis town of Jericho, visit the excavations of the oldest city in the world and take the cable-car to the top of the Mt. of Temptation where Jesus fasted and was tempted by Satan. Afterward we will visit the Jordan River and renew our Baptismal vows at the place where St. John the Baptist baptized Jesus.
