Proposed Itinerary Day 1 - Depart - New Orleans on your overnight transatlantic flights with complimentary meals served in-flight.Day 2 - Arrive Medjugorje - After an early morning arrival in Frankfurt you will connect with a flight to Croatia. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a tour guide and driver who will then take you on the 2 1/2 hour drive by private motor coach to the village of Medjugorje. This guide will be with you throughout your stay in Medjugorje.Days 3 to 7 - Medjugorje - Experience the beauty and peace of this simple village. Here are some of the activities you’ll be sharing with your fellow pilgrims: Each morning at 10am you assemble at St James Church for the English-language Mass (Feast days and Sundays English Mass is at Noon). Follow the same path up Apparition Hill where the young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Pray before the shrine and statue of Our Lady Queen of Peace that commemorates the spot where Mary first appeared to the visionaries.Each evening at 5pm , you will join the villagers and pilgrims to pray the rosary. The apparition takes place at 5:40pm and then stay on for Croatian Mass. Don’t miss on Wednesday and Saturdays Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and on Fridays Veneration of the Cross in the Church. Each evening during Croatian Mass, there is the Blessing of the Sick and blessing of the items you have with you. Your guide will arrange meetings with the visionaries as available at their own homes. You will have the opportunity to climb Krizevac Mountain, where in 1933 the villagers built a 34ft high cross to mark the anniversary of Jesus’ crucifixion. Visit and pray at "Blue Cross", which is a place of great healings and graces- a very special place at the base of Apparition Hill. Day 8 - Dubrovnik - You will travel to Dubrovnik today. You will have Mass and the Blessing of the Throats at St. Blaise Church. Lunch in Dubrovnik. Then transfer to airport for flight to Rome. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for overnight.Day 9 - Return to USA - After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight home.Tour Features
