 Medjugorje

Proposed Itinerary
Day 1 - Depart USA
Board your overnight transatlantic flights from the USA. Meals are served on board.
Day 2 - Arrive Medjugorje
Arrive in Split where you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver who will then take you to the village of Medjugorje. Once there, you will have dinner and be introduced to your host family in who’s modern and comfortable house you will be staying for the next five nights.
Days 3 to 6 - Medjugorje
Experience the beauty and peace of this simple village. During your stay in Medjugorje you will have the opportunity to share faith with thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. Your local guide will accompany you throughout the week. Here are some of the activities you will be sharing with your fellow pilgrims: Each morning at 10am you assemble at St James Church for the English-language Mass (Feast days and Sundays English Mass is at Noon). Follow the same path up Apparition Hill where the young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Touch and pray before the cross that commemorates the spot where Mary first appeared to the visionaries.
Each evening at 5pm (or 6pm daylight savings time) you will join the villagers and pilgrims to pray the rosary, and then stay on for Croatian Mass. The apparition takes place at 5:40pm (or 6:40 daylight savings time.) Don’t miss the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Saturday, and the Veneration of the Cross in the Church on Fridays. Each evening during Croatian Mass, there is the Blessing of the Sick and blessing of the religious items you have with you Your guide will arrange meetings with the visionaries as they are available. You will have the opportunity to climb Krizevac Mountain, where in 1933 the villagers built a 30' high cross on the 1900th anniversary of Jesus’ crucifixion. and pray at “Blue Cross”, which is a place of great healings and graces- a very special place at the base of Apparition Hill.
Day 7 - Medjugorje - Vepric - Frankfurt
After breakfast you will travel to the Croatian Shrine of Vepric, dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes. Here you will have Mass before continuing on to Split where you will board your flight to Frankfurt. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Frankfurt.
Day 8 - Frankfurt—USA
After breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to the Frankfurt Airport for your return flights to the USA.
